The construction of the “Main Tower”, the fourth tallest skyscraper in Frankfurt soaring to a height of 200 metres, was completed in 1999. The tower, which was then the first fully glass-clad skyscraper in Europe, is still an eye-catching landmark for both the numerous tourists who visit Frankfurt and the local population. The complex consists of a round tower and an adjacent square tower rising to a height of 170 metres.
You can get to the top using one of 26 passenger lifts which move at an impressive speed of 4 to 7 metres per second. There are two panorama platforms on the 55th and 56th floor where you can soak up fantastic views over the Frankfurt cityscape. The special floor-to-ceiling windows allow you to enjoy an unobstructed outlook and shoot amazing photographs. The “Main Tower” also houses a restaurant where you can not only savour stunning views but also taste culinary delights. Visitors who are interested in art and culture can admire outstanding artefacts in the lobby of the “Landesbank Helaba” Bank or take part in a guided tour through the Bank’s art collection.
